In recent years,with the increasing number of nail biting behavior students,some students of the nail biting behavior will gradually disappear with the increase of age,some students will continue to nail biting behavior of teenagers,even in the adult stage,the impact on the individual physical and mental development.In this study,328 4-6 Grade four students of primary school in Mudanjiang city as the research object,the main research methods of questionnaire and interviews,to explore the relationship between pupils' nail biting behavior,parenting styles and social support for students,aimed at the analysis of nail biting behavior provided theoretical basis for science,and put forward the intervention strategy effective.The results show that:(1)In the 4-6 Grade,the parents' educational level was mostly junior high school education,and there were significant differences in grade,gender and urban and rural areas.According to the analysis of the results of nail biting behavior and the difference of the mean size of the sixth grade:(15.08)the most prone to biting behavior,the fourth grade(10.01)the most prone to biting behavior;female(13.67)than men(10.64)are more prone to nail biting behavior;City students(12.37)than rural students(8.65)are more prone to biting behavior.(2)The father's severe punishment,excessive protection is a significant positive correlation with the primary nail biting behavior(positive effect);positively related to excessive interference and nail biting behavior of the mother;emotional warmth and understanding of mother's care,parental preference and nail biting behavior showed a significant negative correlation(negative effect).Mother's emotional warmth to the child,parental preference will reduce the incidence of nail biting.(3)Subjective support,objective support and total score of social support were significantly negatively correlated with pupils' biting behavior.Subjective support,objective support has a negative impact on biting behavior.
