| Language learning is the process of continuous practice,and practice in the process of learning the language plays a very important role,therefore practice in teaching materials accounted for a large proportion.Regardless of the teaching of teachers or students self-learning teaching practice have a great influence.The comparative study of teaching materials practice has gradually been attached considerable attention,however,there are still many shortcomings in the comparative study of the teaching practice of English and Chinese due to it towards the same language.This paper chooses the "Developing Chinese" and "New Concept English" primary textbook as the object of comparison,from the language knowledge and language skills to proceed to compare,to analyze the similarities and differences between Chinese and Engligh teaching practice.In the language knowledge,the voice practice of "Developing Chinese" is better than the"New Concept of English".It not only has hidden voice practice,but also explicit voice practice.However,most of the explicit voice exercises focus on voice recognition exercises,on the other hand,it is still a lack of sentences,paragraphs,chapters and other coherent language training,so it is recommended to increase the coherent language training type.The practice of vocabulary mainly follows the order of word meaning study,sentence pattern practice,dialogue completion,picture reading and speech simulation.But in order to achieve the vocabulary of the communicative value,we only convert the passive vocabulary into active vocabulary,the analog communication practice applied to the real life,serve for language communication finally,Therefore,we should pay attention to the combination of mechanical and communicative practice.In the language skills,"Developing Chinese" listening exercises only focus on the first ten classes,and listening content are mostly speech recognition exercises without chapter practice,so listening exercises should pay attention to continuous training,and increase the communication and chapter practice.In the first volume of the language of the mechanical exercise structured,but less communicative practice,and the second volume of the communicative practice increased,meanwhile going out of the classroom to expand the study of this type of problem is conducive to students to apply to the classroom to the actual life,but the chapter Practice less.Oral practice of the first book should increase the flexibility of the more communicative exercise,and the second volume is appropriate to increase the expression of paragraphs and the ability to express text.Reading practice is structured,the course exercises and extra-curricular exercises take care of,but the text practice less,and the previous grammar and vocabulary review is not in place.In the first volume of the language of the mechanical exercise structured,but less communicative practice,the second volume of the communicative practice increased,out of the classroom to expand the study of this type of problem is conducive to students to apply to the classroom to the actual life,but the chapter Practice less.The first book of oral practice should increase the flexibility of the more communicative exercise,the second volume of the appropriate paragraph to increase the expression and the ability to express the practice.Reading practice is structured,and the text exercises and extracurricular exercises take into account,but the text practice less,and the previous grammar and vocabulary review is not in place.It is advisable to pay attention to the practice of reading and reading in text reading exercises,and to add to the review of vocabulary and grammar.This paper suggests that writing exercises are carried out in stages,writing exercises,and practicing the three parts of the chapter do not appear between the fault,while the appropriate increase in the application of writing practice.In general,the design of the two sets of teaching materials are very reasonable,and they have their own characteristics,for comparison,we also found their own strengths and weaknesses.From the "New Concept English",we found a lot of learning materials,such as:listening exercise attention to continuous training,oral practice,attention to communication and chapter practice,and they are worth learning Chinese textbooks.At the same time we also found the "Developing Chinese" many of the advantages.Therefore,we have to continue to carry forward the advantages of Chinese textbooks,but also to absorb the English textbook exercises written by the strengths. |
