| Tibetan opera is one of the most characteristic minority drama in our country. It is of great value in cultural and historical research, and it is a “living fossil” of Tibetan culture.Currently.There are eight plays performance frequently. These traditional Tibetan operas have not only shaped a series of bright positive female characters, such as Yunzhuolamu,Langsawenbang,Sujinima,Mendasangmu, and Zhuowasangmu, but also shaped some of negative female roles, such as Ananimu,Hajiangduimu,Baimajian. Many of these positive characters are fairies or fairies, showing strong mother love, wife love and love for all beings. In contrast, those negative female roles are very selfish,narrow-minded,jealous,and vicious, they are the ones that people spit on.Through these characters, they can reflect the people’s belief and worship of the goddess. It also reflects the intense pursuit of the Tibetan people to the true and beautiful human emotions.By analyzing the cultural background of female characters in traditional Tibetan operas,we can see that, the role of these women is closely related to the special traditional female culture that has long been formed on the Tibetan plateau. On the conceptual level, they should be aware of the demands of traditional buddhist culture on women, and on the path of promoting buddhist ideals, they adhere to the various buddhist doctrines that target women. On the value level, they should give full play to the core role of women in the family, and to fulfill the duties of Tibetan women in the production. On the human level, they will do good deeds and alms, think of buddhas as the ultimate ideal of their own life. And through the results of “good is rewarded with good, and evil with evil”,we can interpret the good and evil ways of human nature. |
