Speed quality is of the essence among physical qualities, which consists of action speed, movement speed and reaction speed. Movement speed is the most important in a football match, concerning the field, which reflects an athlete's general capability.Rope ladder training is a physical training method new and modern enough. However,it isn' t widely used no matter in school PE lessons or in training teams. Rope ladder training is mainly used for agility training.By using various methods such as document analysis, mathematical statistics analysis, investigations and experiments, the writer conducts experiments on what influences the rope ladder training will exert on junior high school football team members' movement speed. In the experiments, 24 football team members from Nanjing thirteen middle school suojin campus, are divided into the control group and the experiment group. the control group does regular speed training while the experiment group adds rope ladder training. the only difference between the control group and the experiment group is about speed quality training. After 12 weeks, findings are as follows:1. After the 12-week routine training of the control group, the level of the five special moving speed indicators was significantly higher than the pre-measured level(p = 0.000 <0.001). This shows that long-term conventional speed quality training methods can improve the special movement speed of junior high school football players.2. After the 12-week course training combined with conventional speed training, the experimental level of the five special moving speed indicators has also been significantly improved (p = 0.000 <0.001). It is noteworthy that there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in the"20-meter run" project (p = 0.645> 0.05),and after the 10% (P = 0.230> 0.05).However, the level of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group (p = 0.021, P <0.05), but there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group (P = 0.009 <0.01). In the "20-meter curve running" group, the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group (p = 0.009 <0.01) (P = 0.000 <0.001). This shows that the rope ladder training can effectively improve the junior high school football team in the curve, polyline on the special movement speed, but the simple straight run and too simple polyline dribble no effect.Experiments mentioned above are intended to figure out what effects the rope ladder training will have on junior high football team members' special movement speed, in order to provide a new method for their movement training.
