This article is based on the analysis of current research on the generation,indexing,and visualization of global discrete grid systems.Through in-depth analysis and summary of existing related results,a series of studies have been conducted on the visualization of the global hexagonal grid.The main work of the thesis is summarized as follows:1.In the process of generating the global hexagonal grid system,there are limitations in the custom algorithm conditions for all kinds of spherical hexagonal grid systems.The method of multi-scale grid cell construction is studied in depth.A global hexagonal grid system generalization generation algorithm based on the "simple cell replication + effective area control" method is proposed.The relevant steps of the algorithm are discussed in detail.Finally,relevant experiments are performed to verify the algorithm's versatility and effectiveness.2.In the process of hierarchical grid generation,starting from the essence of static grid generation algorithm,the node coordinate association algorithm between two level grids in infinite plane is studied.3.In the aspect of spherical hexagonal grid index query,combined with the technical requirements of grid visualization,a data structure based on a semi-hexagonal grid unit(trapezoidal unit)was designed.On this basis,the indexing method of hexagonal grid is designed.4.In the process of adaptive generation and visualization of spherical hexagonal grids,the display process is carefully studied.The main tasks include: the clipping of the visible area,the selection of the initial grid,the filling of the area grid,LOD visualization based on the viewpoint,scene-based data segmentation,and dynamic operations.Finally,experiments related to the adaptive generation and visualization of spherical hexagons are performed,and the experimental results are analyzed and summarized.
