The reliability of production systems has an important impact on the economic efficiency of manufacturing companies.With the increasingly complex structure and the gradual integration of functions of modern production systems,reliability analysis and maintenance decision-making of complex production lines has become a research hot spot.In recent years,with the joint efforts of industry and academia,the research of production system reliability has achieved fruitful results.After reviewing and summarizing the relevant results in the field of reliability research of complex production lines,this paper finds that there are few literatures considering the impact of operating parameters on system reliability for reliability modeling and maintenance decision-making of production lines.However,in reality,the execution unit of the production line has a close relationship between the operating speed of the execution unit and the reliability of the system during the repeated operation.In addition,complex production lines often consist of multiple execution units with specific functions.If buffer stock is placed between two adjacent execution units,the impact of execution unit failure on system productivity can be greatly reduced.Therefore,centering on these problems,this paper carries out research on operation parameter optimization and maintenance modeling of multi-unit production line from the two aspects of the unbuffered and the buffered.The main research contents are as follows:1.A multi-unit production line reliability analysis model is proposed.In this paper,according to the different failure states of the production line,the reliability changes of the production line under different failure states are analyzed from the two aspects of the unbuffered and buffered.Based on the system reliability theory,the mapping relationship between the reliability of the execution unit of the multi-unit production line and the operating parameters is established,and the reliability model of the production line from the two aspects of the unbuffered and buffered is established.2.A multi-objective optimization method that considers effective operating speed,maintenance cost,and buffer inventory is proposed.Based on the reliability analysis model,the effective running speed,maintenance cost and buffer inventory model of the production line were established.With the objective of minimizing maintenance cost,maximizing effective operation speed and minimizing buffer inventory,the operation parameters of production line are optimized from two aspects of unbuffer and buffer respectively,and use a Meta Heuristic Algorithm to solve the maintenance decision model.3.A production line maintenance strategy that considers multiple maintenance methods.Based on the reliability constraints,consider the three maintenance methods of minimal repair,preventive maintenance,and replacement to analyze the reliability of the production line and build a multi-objective optimization model.Based on the optimization model,a maintenance strategy for the production line is proposed,and this strategy is applied to a packaging production line.In the example,the rationality and superiority of the proposed maintenance strategy are verified.
