China is a country with frequent floods.Many areas of our country will enter the rainy season from April to August every year,flood prevention and control have also become the top priority of local hydrological departments.With the rapid development of wireless communication and sensor technologies,hydrological monitoring system is gradually moving towards information and intelligence.Hydrological monitoring will no longer be confined to a certain area,information and technology sharing will become the trend of development.The hydrologic monitoring system designed in this paper is composed of intelligent sensor,telemeter,remote monitoring center and so on.The intelligent sensor and telemeter constitute the site monitoring terminal together and realize communication through RS-485/Modbus communication mode.The site monitoring terminal sends the collected data to the cloud computing platform through 4G network.The monitoring center can visit the site monitoring terminal through the Web service provided by the cloud computing platform,or issue instructions through the cloud computing platform.Intelligent sensors consist of sensors with specific functions and control circuits.The intelligent of pressure water level sensor,ultrasonic water level sensor and rainfall sensor are designed in this system to complete the collection and processing of hydrological information.The telemetry instrument is composed of control module,ME909s-821 communication module,power supply module and so on to patrol intelligent sensors and upload data to cloud computing platform over 4G mobile communication networks.The monitoring computer has access to the cloud computing platform through the Internet to complete the work of checking hydrological data and issuing monitoring instructions.This paper describes the selection of communication mode and the scheme design of site monitoring terminal and monitoring center.The remote transmission of high quality hydrological information is realized by using 4G mobile communication network.The hydrological monitoring system based on 4G mobile communication system designed in this paper has high reliability and stability,which can achieve stable monitoring of water condition information compared with the data collected by the site measurement and monitoring system.
