Dirac's scientific methodological revolution, which has important research value both in philosophy and physics, provides us with a new idea for understanding the relationship between mathematics and physics. This paper attempts to elaborate and analyze it from the three parts of its background, philosophical connotation and historical significance,so as to clarify its status and value as a methodology revolution. This paper argues that the most important philosophical significance of Dirac's scientific methodology is to provide us with a holistic approach to thinking about the relationship between mathematics and physics. As an integral structure, the physical-mathematical sign becomes an effective access for physicists to get to the frame laws, thus can surpass the Galilei-Newton's research tradition, and achieve great success during the development of physics. To some extent,it also avoids the difficulty of interpretation caused by the traditional separation between mathematics and physics. The frontiers fields of physics are not mathematical games. The new viewpoint is that the physical-mathematical sign,as the best access to the frame laws, may guide us to new entities and phenomena.Dirac's scientific methodological revolution is of great historical significance in the discussion of the theoretical structure of physics and the relationship between mathematics and physics.
