| Homegardens are important social and cultural spaces in which knowledge about agricultural practices is disseminated and through which families can raise their incomes and livelihoods.In this paper,381 households in 11 Mongolians settlements were selected in Arhorqin Banner of Inner Mongolia as the research area to investigate the planting situation of their Homegardens plants.At the same time,two Han settlement villages were selected as comparative analysis in this banner,so as to provide scientific basis for the scientific management and sustainable development of Mongolians Homegardens plants inArhorqin Banner.(1)According to the research results in this paper,the Homegardens and plant species of 11 Mongolians settlements in this region are different,which is closely related to the use of electric Wells,fences and the history of gardens.Arhorqin Banner Mongolians plant a total of 26 kinds of Homegardens plants,including vegetables,fruits and plant a total of 21 species,a total of 10 food crops,18 species of ornamental flowers,carbon fiber with 5 kinds of plants,pay with six species,wood with six species,as well as other uses plants,a total of 11 kinds of wild edible plants,wild forage plants of 10.Compositae is the most native garden plant,followed by solanaceae;Herbaceous plants accounted for 70.29% of the total,indicating that the local garden plants were dominated by herbaceous plants.(2)There are 120 local aliases of Mongolian garden plants in Arhorqin Banner.There are 40 local aliases of Mongolian words and 36 local aliases of Mongolian phrases or compound words,with special vocabulary for plant naming.There are 44 local aliases composed of Chinese words and other borrowing names.In the use of plant names,homonyms and homonyms are rare.The naming method of a local alias includes naming according to color,shape,smell or taste,growth environment,etc.(3)The analysis of the plant species composition of the villages in different natural environments of the mongolians in Arhorqin Banner.shows that the average species number of each family in the plain hilly area is the highest and the average species number of each family in the hilly area is the lowest.The main factors causing the differences are affected by landform,production and lifestyle,and dietary habits.(4)The average number of species planted in the gardens of 92 households aged between 34 and 43 in Arhorqin Banner was the lowest(12.39%),followed by the average number of species planted in the Homegardens of 92 households aged over 64(12.67%),and the average number of species planted in the Homegardens of 92 households aged between 44 and 53(35.69%).Look from Homegardens managers' level of education,no education Homegardens managers have 5 door,Homegardens plant species was 13.80 on average,received the grounds of the elementary education managers have 197 households,the farmers in the local majority,Homegardens plant species was 12.36 on average,and the farmers have received junior college or university 20 households,Homegardens plant species was 17.20 on average,from family,greater than or equal to the average population of five families was 20.65%.Those with three or fewer were 47.79%.Population density has a certain impact on the planting of Homegardens plants.(5)In the survey of 381 households of the Mongolians Homegardens management by her husband alone has 22 families,accounted for 5.77% of the total number of households,the wife of one management Homegardens has 300 households,accounting for 78.74%,run jointly by the couple Homegardens 42 units,accounting for 11.02%,together with his wife and mother-in-law management of 15 units,accounting for 3.94%,single family by old people in the management of Homegardens 2 units,accounting for 0.53%.The garden plants in 13 villages investigated by Arhorqin Banner are influenced by the level of Homegardens management,geographical conditions and diet habits.In a word,the species of Mongolians garden plants in Arhorqin Banner are management. |
