An Assessment Of Resource Potential Of Tight Oil In Chang 6 To Chang 8 Of Yanchang Oil Field

The tight oil exploration area of Yanchang oil field is situated in the central south of Ordos basin.Because the resource potential of tight oil is not clear,the exploration and development of the Yanchang oil field is seriously restricted.According to the above problem,this study analyzes the existing data comprehensively,considers tight oil of Chang 6 to Chang 8 of Yanchang formation as intensive research object,and evaluates resource potential of tight oil in the objective layer of the studied area.In this paper,we calculated the amount of tight oil resource in Chnag 6 to Chang 8in Yanchang oil field by using volumetric method for small bin and analogous method for hierarchical resource abundance.The results of the two methods were similar,indicating that the evaluation results are reliable.Taking comprehensive results of two methods with the Delphi method,tight oil resource of Chang 6 is 11.98×10~8t,high resource abundance areas are mainly distributed in Fanxue,Xinanbian,Wucangbao,Changguanmiao,Yizheng,Zhidan,Gaoshao and the south of Zhangjiawan;tight oil resource of Chang 7 is 9.26×10~8t,high resource abundance areas are mainly distributed in Fanxue,Xinanbian,Wucangbao,Baibao,Yizheng,the west of Gaoshao Zhiluo and Fuxian;tight oil resource of Chang 8 is 9.74×10~8t,high resource abundance areas are mainly distributed in Youfangzhaung,Fanxue,Xinanbian,Wucangbao,Baibao,the east of Yizheng,Zhangjiawan,the northwest of Gaoshao,Zhiluo Zhiluo and Fuxian.
