In 2008,the “5.12” Wenchuan earthquake destroyed the old county town of Beichuan.After the disaster,Beichuan County was rebuilt under the unified planning of the Chinese government.The landslide studied in this paper is located opposite the Beichuan New County Vocational Middle School.The landslide is divided into two parts,one part is the northwest side slope of Fangyuan Pipe Industry,and the other part is the northwest side slope of Beichuan Grain and Oil Reserve Center.During the rainy season,heavy rain will accelerate the deformation and destruction of the landslide body,seriously threatening the safety of life and property of the staff of Fangyuan Pipe Industry Company and Beichuan Grain Reserve Center,and affecting local social stability.This paper takes the landslide opposite Beichuan Vocational Middle School as the research object,conducts Field geological survey,Data collection,Laboratory test and Landslide formation mechanism analysis in the study area,and uses the limit equilibrium method and numerical simulation method to analyze the stability of the landslide.Finally,According to the stability analysis of landslide,safe,reasonable and economical measures are proposed.The specific results are as follows:(1)The landslide stability calculation shows that the landslide is in a stable state as a whole under natural conditions.The overall stability of the landslide is poor in both rainstorm and earthquake conditions.The stability near the Beichuan Grain Reserve Station on the left side of the landslide is worse than that near the square pipe factory on the right side of the landslide.Under the unfavorable conditions of heavy rain and earthquake,the slope as a whole is more likely to undergo sliding damage along the subsurface interface.(2)The typical profile was selected and the landslide was numerically simulated using FLAC 3D software.The result shows that under natural conditions,the local deposits on the slope may be deformed and unstable,but the whole is in a stable state.Under heavy rain conditions,deformation and instability may occur on the surface of the front edge and the rear of the northwest side slope of Fangyuan Pipe Industry.Deformation and instability are most likely to occur at the front edge of the slope on the northwest side of the Grain Reserve Center and the secondary slope in the middle and rear,but the overall slope is less likely to cause slip instability.(3)For the two parts of the landslide,two preliminary proposals for prevention and treatment are proposed.One suggestion for the treatment plan of the slope on the northwest side of Fangyuan Pipe Industry is: gravity-type anti-sliding retaining wall + interception drainage project + greening comprehensive treatment suggestion.Another suggestion for the northwest side slope of Beichuan Grain and Oil Storage Center is: gravity-type anti-sliding retaining wall + cut load reduction + drainage works + greening comprehensive treatment suggestion.
