At present,my country's per capita vegetable consumption is the largest in the world.Vegetable sown area accounts for more than one-tenth of the country's total crop area, and the created output value accounts for one-third of the total output value of the planting industry. However, under the multiple constraints of factor endowments, natural resources, and ecological environment, the vegetable industry needs to take into account the attributes of "diversity, low consumption, high yield, high efficiency, and sustainability".With the increase in the total demand for vegetables and the actual demand of farmers for their high income, the academic circles have increasingly refined research on the production cost, factor allocation, and profitability of facility vegetables. However,in the field of research on total factor productivity of facility vegetables, the academic community has not yet given a clearer judgment on the impact of technological progress and technical efficiency. Therefore,it is very important to explore the changing trend of the total factor productivity of facility vegetables, analyze technological progress and technical efficiency to contribute to its growth. This paper takes tomatoes and cucumbers as examples, supported by macro and micro data of facilities and open-field vegetables, based on latitude and rainfall as the division of regions, from the perspective of cost-benefit and efficiency evaluation, using comparative analysis and SFA-Malmquist method to calculate and calculate Decompose the total factor productivity index.According to the empirical analysis of this article, the following three conclusions can be drawn: First, facility vegetables have the "three highs" advantages of "high yield, high price, and high profit" and the "dual" disadvantages of "poor yield and low labor productivity".However, the facility vegetable industry is still a "labor-intensive" industry, and the economic investment in facility construction is relatively high, which affects the competitiveness of facility vegetables.Second, from the perspective of the total factor productivity of facility vegetables, the total factor productivity of facility vegetables in China is increasing steadily, which belongs to the "technical progress induction" model. The main drivers of total factor productivity growth are different across regions.Third, comparing the efficiency of facility vegetables and open-field vegetables, the changes in total factor productivity are basically the same;technical efficiency is expressed as that facility vegetables are greater than open-field vegetables, and there is a large difference in efficiency between open-field vegetables;technological progress growth is expressed as that facility vegetables are less than open-field vegetables, and regional The characteristics are remarkable. Therefore, the growth model of China's facility vegetable total factor productivity is "induction of technological progress + promotion of technological efficiency".At the end of the article, specific policy recommendations are put forward to strengthen the guiding role of policy subsidies, accelerate technology promotion, and formulate regional differentiation policies.
