North Truva Oilfield is located in the eastern margin of the Caspian Basin.Its sedimentary environment is dominated by carbonate platform facies,and it is mainly a stratiform carbonate reservoir with condensate gas cap and edge and bottom water.With the oilfield entering the stage of comprehensive development,the reservoir research results and structural interpretation accuracy of the target interval can not meet the needs of fine reservoir management.In this paper,KT-I reservoir group is taken as the research object.Through the analysis of oil field geology,logging,core sampling and other data,stratigraphic division and correlation,reservoir characteristics description and reservoir modeling are studied.The content of this paper aims at the problems of strong reservoir heterogeneity,large reservoir span,complex oil-water relationship,uneven interlayer utilization and unrealized residual oil distribution.Firstly,the genesis of reservoir bedding is analyzed and studied.After determining the reservoir bedding characteristics,the small beds are fine divided into 4 sub-beds and 9 sub-beds by logging data interpretation and sedimentary cycle characteristics.On this basis,the reservoir characteristics are analyzed and counted through the observation of core casting slices,and the reservoir lithology,physical properties,reservoir space type and distribution,pore throat characteristics and non-pore throat characteristics are analyzed.Homogeneity and distribution characteristics of interbeds are described to lay a foundation for reservoir characterization and modeling.In the process of modeling,referring to the concept of clastic rock single sand body,the concept of carbonate rock reservoir unit is put forward.Carbonate rock reservoir unit is carefully depicted.Structural model is established and embedded three-dimensional geological model is built with reservoir unit.The reservoir effectiveness is accurately described by attribute model.Spatial distribution characteristics of thickness and physical parameters.Based on the study of reservoir characteristics and the existing reservoir distribution data,the research results improve the accuracy of reservoir modeling,accurately reflect reservoir heterogeneity and oil-water movement law,consolidate the geological foundation for the relationship between residual oil distribution and injection-production,and have important guiding significance for reservoir waterflooding development and well location deployment.
