In this paper,we use the Miocene and its strata in the Madura Strait area of the East Java Basin as the research object, combining the research status of various types of tectonic evolution and sedimentary environments at home and abroad, based on the structural interpretation of the 2D and 3D seismic data of the Madura Strait, and comprehensive application.Tectonic evolution analysis, seismic phase identification, balanced section technology and other technical means, through the analysis of tectonic maps, seismic phase maps, and sedimentary facies plane prediction maps and balanced equilibrium profile obtained from the transformation of seismic facies maps to the Miocene Strait Miocene area Since the beginning of the study, the structural evolution of the strata and the prediction of the sedimentary environment have been systematically studied. After using the well logging data in the study area to calibrate the strata, the fine structure interpretations of the Lidah and Mundu formations in the study area above the Miocene and the understanding of the overall structural configuration of the basin are known as Beigaonan.Low,large break zone in the middle.Through the analysis of the thickness map of the main target layer,it is known that the tectonic movement in the western part of the basin is intense and the terrain deformation is large.Under the influence of tectonic deformation, the sedimentary center in the east of the basin shifts from east to west.By plotting the seismic stratigraphy of the main strata and converting it into a sedimentary facies map,the distribution of sedimentary facies in the main strata is mapped. The sedimentary environment of the basin is dominated by the land-sea transitional phase of the semi-deepwater-continental shelf. In general, the formation is old to new,and the overall environment of the sedimentary environment is divided into two parts: the north and the south. The depth of water in the sedimentary environment gradually becomes shallow.Thesubmarine fan develops in the coastal zone, and the slope fan and turbidite fan develop in the continental shelf slope.Using the balanced section method,a balanced section was recovered from typical structural sections of the west, middle, and east of the basin.Combined with previous research results,we can intuitively analyze the structural evolution of the Madura basin.1)Oligocene-Middle Miocene, during rift development, deposited a set of clastic and carbonate sediments from shallow to open seas;3)Late Miocene-Myocene,first phase Extrusion period, shallow marine deposition,4)Pliocene period, the second phase of extrusion. Two sets of reservoir-forming combinations have been discovered in the study area. The carbonates of the Upper Oligocene and Lower Miocene Kujung Formation are mainly reservoirs in the study area. The Eocene and Lower Oligocene terrestrial and marine-continent transitional mudstones Shale is a source rock, and the Middle Miocene marine shale is used as a cap rock to form the lower structural layer hydrocarbon accumulation system.
