Geological Characteristics And Prospecting Direction Of Fe Deposit In Fuxin Songmugao

Songmugao iron mine is located in the songmugao area in the north of Fuxin,on the copper polymetallic iron ferrous metal metallogenic belt.The geotectonic location belongs to the old temple uplift of Qaidam North China plate,North China landmass,north margin uplift belt of North China and Jianping uplift.The regional minerals are mainly gold and iron ore,followed by copper and other polymetallic minerals.Songmugao iron mine is a small iron mine discovered in recent years.The type of iron ore in the area is Anshan type iron ore deposit,which occurs in Xiaotazi formation of Jianping Group of Archean.The middle rocks of Archean intruded into the Xiaotazigou formation,which destroyed the integrity of the Xiaotazigou formation.The Xiaotazigou formation distributed in the Archean intrusive rocks as xenoliths,and then the gneissization took place.In the area,NNE faults are developed to further divide the strata of Xiaotazigou formation.In this study,through geological mapping,geophysical survey and trenching drilling engineering,the occurrence location,lithological characteristics and geophysical characteristics of the iron ore deposit have been determined.It is considered that the Xiaotazigou formation is an important geological condition for the formation of iron ore deposits in the mining area.The Xiaotazigou formation is the main occurrence site of iron ore deposits and the direct ore prospecting indicator of the iron ore in this area.Through geophysical exploration,it is found that magnetic measurement has an obvious indicating effect on songmugao iron mine.In the area,the magnetic anomaly with high strength and large scale of ore bearing strata is obviously high in the mining area.Magnetic anomaly is an important prospecting indicator of iron ore.
