Study On Ecological Efficiency Evaluation And Influencing Factors In Jiangxi Province

China is the largest developing country in the world.Since reform and opening up,China has used extensive economic growth to greatly improve the living standards of our residents.However,economic development at the expense of the environment has directly caused environmental pollution and ecology.Many problems such as imbalances,soil erosion,increased haze weather and water pollution have become increasingly prominent.As one of the three national ecological civilization test areas,Jiangxi Province should fully combine its own advantages,reduce the use of resources and energy consumption as much as possible,improve the efficiency of input and output,promote the sustainable development of the economy,and then improve the level of ecological efficiency.How to coordinate the development of economy,resources and environment is one of the urgent and critical issues for the scientific development of Jiangxi economy at this stage.To this end,based on the research of the Jiangxi Province Humanities and Social Sciences Key Base Research Project "Research on the Regional Differences and Dynamic Evolution of Ecological Efficiency in Jiangxi Province"(Project No.: JD18089),the following aspects are carried out on the ecological efficiency of Jiangxi Province the study.First of all,sort out the previous research results,provide a full reference for the research in this article,and expound the connotation of ecological efficiency and related theories.Then,drawing on previous research experience and combining with the actual situation in Jiangxi Province,a rationally constructed ecological efficiency indicator system was selected to select total energy consumption,total water consumption,urban construction land,urban employment population,fixed asset investment,industrial solid waste emissions,Industrial waste water discharge and industrial waste gas discharge are used as input indicators,and regional GDP is used as the output indicator.The super-efficient DEA model is used to calculate the ecological efficiency of Jiangxi Province,and the comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency are analyzed respectively.Combined with the Malmquist index,the ecological efficiency of Jiangxi Province is analyzed dynamically.After completing the evaluation of ecological efficiency,this paper selects economic development level,opening level,industrial structure,technological level,urbanization and environmental governance as the influencing factors of ecological efficiency,and uses tobit regression model for analysis.Finally,this article combines the theoretical and empirical research results,and puts forward relevant suggestions for ecological construction in Jiangxi Province.The results of this study show that the average ecological efficiency of Jiangxi Province is 1.273,only the average comprehensive efficiency of Jiujiang City is less than 1,and the remaining prefecture-level cities are all greater than 1,indicating that Jiangxi Province has achieved good results in the construction of ecological civilization.The average value of pure technical efficiency in Jiangxi Province is 1.397,and the value of pure technical efficiency in most prefecture-level cities is greater than 1,indicating that there is no serious resource,economic waste,and pollution of the ecological environment in various cities in Jiangxi Province.The scale efficiency of various cities in Jiangxi Province is mostly at a low level,indicating that scale efficiency is an important factor restricting the ecological efficiency of Jiangxi Province.The dynamic analysis results of ecological efficiency in Jiangxi Province indicate that technological progress is the main reason for promoting the improvement of ecological efficiency in Jiangxi Province.From the analysis of influencing factors,the level of economic development,the level of opening to the outside world,and the level of science and technology can promote the improvement of ecological efficiency,and industrial structure,environmental governance,and urbanization can inhibit the improvement of ecological efficiency.According to the research conclusion,this paper puts forward some suggestions as follows:(1)optimize the industrial structure and reasonably allocate resources;(2)strengthen the investment in scientific research and improve the level of science and technology;(3)adjust the opening policy to attract foreign investment;(4)strengthen environmental control and environmental governance;(5)optimize the urban layout and increase the population carrying capacity.
