Shihu gold mine is located in Lingshou County of Shijiazhuang city and Fuping County of Baoding City.It is one of the large gold deposits in Hebei province and the only large gold deposit in Taihang Mountain area.The mining area is located in the east of Yanshanian Malibu in the Taihangshan tectonic-Magmatism polymetallic metallogenic belt in the northeast,and the intrusion of the rock mass and the formation of the fault structure are mostly controlled by the Beiye?Malibu?Yangjiazhuang Deep fault zone in the west branch of Chicheng?Niangziguan Deep fault zoneBased on the study of the regional geological metallogenic background in Taihang Mountain area,the geological characteristics of ore deposits are emphatically studied.This paper analyzes the source of metallogenic materials and fluids,puts forward the viewpoint of genesis of ore deposits,summarizes the regularity of mineralization,and puts forward for the first time a new viewpoint of ore-bearing zone in the outer contact zone near the rock body,which also points out the direction of ore-prospecting in the futureThrough comprehensive study,it is considered that Shihu gold deposit was formed through multiple stages of geological structure development and evolution.The formation of early stage structure and subsequent evolution provided conditions and laid a good foundation for later mineralization.Through a large number of data and facts,it has been proved that the formation of the deposit is closely related to magmatic rocks and fracture zones,but not to strata in terms of metallogenic source The ore-forming materials are mainly derived from deep source.The ore-bearing hydrothermal fluid formed in the late stage of crystallization differentiation and magmatic intrusion of the Mapeng pluton in Yanshanian period is formed in the low order nearly north-south and northwest trending fault structures under appropriate physical and chemical conditions.Magmatic rocks are the main source of ore-forming materials,but a small amount of other fluids are not excluded Based on the study of the geological characteristics of Shihu gold deposit,this paper points out the prospecting direction in the deep and peripheral areas of Shihu gold deposit,which lays a good foundation for future geological prospecting.
