| After looking and reading the literature at home and abroad,researching the welding seam tracking sensor’ application status quo,this paper provides a low cost,convenient control,strong anti-interference ability,high tracking precision welding seam tracking sensor,and designs the welding seam tracking control system,which conforms the mainstream of the industrial welding seam tracking technology in service.In this paper,the development research of the welding seam tracking control technology and sensor technology have been presented,and the research frontier in this field at home and abroad have been introduced,in the same time,we have developed a mechanical contact photoelectric type welding seam tracking system based on PLC with combining with actual industrial application status in our country by the way of analysis.Firstly,based on the requirements of industrial application,the framework and control principle of the whole system have been determined.PLC have been selected to be the core control unit,the mechanical photoelectric sensor is selected to be the detecting mechanism,and the step motor is selected as servo mechanism,which working together to realize closed loop control of the system.Secondly,on the basis of the overall design train of thought,the circuit design of the system have been determined,and the design of the sensor have been presented,in the same time,the mechanism structure design of the system have been completed,including welding trolley,deviation regulating mechanism,electric control cabinet.On the foundation of the system hardware platform,we have studied the control strategy of tracking system,and used the PID control algorithm to solve the problem of welding seam tracking control.And we have completed the control program of system and the human-computer interaction system based on touch screen.Finally,we have conducted the numerical simulation for the mechanical contact photoelectric welding seam tracking system based on PLC by the way of MATLAB,and verified the feasibility of PID control algorithm.At the same time,the experiments have been conducted to show that welding seam tracking sensor and control system designed in this paper meet the design requirements and standards. |
