The polymer membrane material needs to be cut after the process of printing,molding and injection molding in IMD(In-MoldDecoratiom)mold injection molding process.The traditional punching process in the face of a complex path of the diaphragm to cut,the entire device may be in the cutter,fixture,mold requirements are relatively high,high cost,the film was cut out of precision is not even high There is no way to punch.Therefore,C02 laser was used to cut IMD diaphragms,and the relationship and rules of different materials,different process parameters and slit width,heat affected zone and surface burning were studied.Trajectory design and optimization using off-line programming,And finally build an auxiliary laser device platform to calibrate the laser cutting trajectory.Which provides a theoretical reference for the large-scale cutting of IMD diaphragms from C02 laser.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the principle of laser,the energy distribution of Gaussian beam is analyzed,and the energy distribution model of the spot on the surface of the material is summarized and the visualization is described by matlab.(2)The concept of spot size,defocus,incident angle and center distance is expounded,and the relationship between the geometric distribution parameters on the diaphragm under the cross irradiation of two spots is presented.The spot distribution state and the size of the defocus range at different main laser incident angles.(3)For the PC diaphragm material,under the influence of different parameters(laser power,incident angle,defocus amount,cutting speed),the C02 laser cutting system was used to carry out the cutting test to study the width and heat effect of the surface slit The law of the area.The width of the slit and the heat affected area increase with the increase of the laser power,the incident angle increases,the defocus amount increases,and the cutting speed decreases.Where the laser power and the cutting speed have a threshold so that the PC material can not be cut.The temperature of PVC,PC,PET and PP was cut and measured by C02 laser cutting system and infrared thermometer.The maximum temperature of PVC was found,and the maximum temperature of PC was the smallest.(4)The IMD finished film was cut and simulated by offline programming,and divided into different segments.The angle of incidence,cutting speed and defocus were set on each path,and the trajectory was optimized.In the actual cutting simulation,the use of auxiliary laser green light and the main laser red spot coincidence degree to determine whether the laser out of focus is within the allowable range.Finally,compared with the uncorrected teaching programming cut,it was found that the IMD molded film after calibration was cut off after the line was cut and there was no burnt yellowing phenomenon.
