With the rapid development of national economy and the continuous improvement of production control technology in the thick plate,the demand of the thick plate is increased.,and the requirement for the quality of thick plate is higher and higher.The problem of the not enough deformation in the center and the large grain structures are easily happened.Temperature gradient rolling method is a process that rapid cooling while rolling to enhance uniformity of the deformation along the thickness direction to improve the deformation in the center.Adopt the method of combining numerical simulation,theoretical analysis and the experiments of rolling,did the study on the formation law of the temperature field and permeability of deformation in thickness direction of plate.The main contents of the paper are as follows:(1)Referred to the relevant literature review of temperature gradient rolling and the effect of temperature gradient rolling on permeability of deformation,introduced the research progress of temperature gradient rolling and deformation characteristics,established a theoretical foundation for temperature gradient rolling and the effect of temperature gradient rolling on permeability of deformation.(2)Based on the finite element software DEFORM,established the Steel plate cooling model,and analyzed the influence of heat transfer coefficient,cooling time,initial temperature and thickness of plates on the temperature field.According to the simulated data,got a function of temperature and different cooling factors.(3)Based on coupling numerical simulation method,established the rolling model of steel plate on the steel plate cooling model,and analyzed the influence of temperature gradient,reduction rate and thickness of plates on the uniformity of the deformation along the thickness direction,and analyzed the influence of temperature gradient,reduction rate and thickness of plates on the uniformity of the deformation along the thickness direction.(4)Based on the equivalence principle of the gradient between deformation resistance and the temperature,did the experiments of the composite rolling of different materials.The result is that:Compared with the conventional rolling,the deformation rate of the composite rolling in the center of plate is larger,and it proves that the temperature gradient promotes the deformation to the center of the steel,and improves the deformation uniformity of the thickness direction.
