How to calculate mechanical parameters and improve mechanical properties of plate are always important problems in hot plate rolling. In order to predict the deformation variables during hot rolling and the mechanical properties of the product, a mixed analytic-numerical method for hot rolling and cooling process of plate is established in this paper. The achievements of this method are theoretically significant and practically valuable to optimizing parameters of hot rolling.Firstly, considering inhomogeneous deformation during hot rolling and according to metal plastic theory, a velocity field for metal flow in deformation zone that reflect different rolling schedule is established in an Eulerian coordinate setting, parameters in this field are established by Markov theory. By means of the'material time derivative'relation of strain rate and strain, and the coordinates mapping in deformation zone, the different equations for solving strain and a subsequent recurrent solution are formulated.
