Vertical sieve tray with swirl atomizing is a new stereoscopic mass transfer tray,which is improved on the basis of the vertical sieve tray.The swirl plate structure is added at the entrance of the gas phase to change the gas phase path to increase the two-phase mass transfer surface.Further strengthening the mass transfer process.In the upper part of the riser piple design annular gap structure to reduce tray vibration,back mixing and other non-ideal flow.Increase the handling capacity and flexibility of the tray.In this paper,the mass transfer performance of the vertical sieve tray with swirl atomizing was studied and the structure of the tray was optimized.Expected to get the best structural parameters.Provided reference for industrial design.The effects of the operating conditions and the structure parameters of the tray on the mass transfer performance of the vertical sieve tray with swirl atomizing were studied by using the ethanol water system.The results show that:The mass transfer performance of the tray increases with the increase of the gas phase kinetic factor(F factor),and then keeps stable,and last drops sharply.The mass transfer performance of the trays first increases and then decreases with the increase of the height of the bottom gap and the ratio of the annulus gap area to the cross-sectional area of the riser piple.The mass transfer performance of the tray is the best when the bottom gap height is 10 mm,the ratio of the annulus gap area to the cross-sectional area of the riser piple are 120%.The mass transfer performance of the trays is affected by the structure of the swirl plate.When the blade elevation angle is 20 ° and the number of blades is 3,the mass transfer performance of the tray is the best.Compare with the vertical sieve tray,the mass transfer efficiency of the vertical sieve tray with swirl atomizing is increased by about 10%,and the tray pressure drop is increased by 25%.The two-phase flow condition on the vertical sieve tray with swirl atomizing was studied.A three-dimensional projection motion model of moving droplets on the tray is established.The mass transfer model of the vertical sieve tray with swirl atomizing was preliminarily established on the basis of the research on the vertical sieve tray sieve mass transfer model.
