In the cold area of China,in order to ensure the normal work of the wokers and machinery under the mine,it is necessary to heat the fresh air,so.it needs to consume a large amount of energy.However,there is a lot of low grade heat energy in mine return air,which can be extracted by heat pipe heat exchanger and directly preheated air by this part of heat energy.The heat pipe heat exchanger is a kind of high efficient heat transfer components,simple structure,high heat transfer efficiency,small power consumption,is paid more attention by people.Based on the theories of heat transfer,engineering thermodynamics and fluid mechanics,and combining with the theoretical knowledge of heat pipe technology,this paper refers to and draws lessons from a large number of application examples of heat pipe waste heat recovery technology.The low temperature heat pipe heat exchanger used in the preheating of fresh air in coal mine return air waste heat is designed,which can completely replace the traditional coal-fired boiler or hot blast stove by providing the well head anti-freezing method of the inlet air well.Finally,the heat pipe heat exchanger with positive triangular and fork rows is selected,which requires 2700 heat pipes,276 rows of windward surface and 10 rows of wind flow.In order to better study the heat transfer effect of heat pipe heat exchanger,the simplified three-dimensional solid model of heat pipe was constructed by using three-dimensional solid modeling software CATIA,and the physical model of heat exchanger was created with ANSYS ICEM CFD and tetrahedron mesh was generated.According to the control equation of the fluid,the uncoupled implicit algorithm is used by FLUENT software,and the standard k-? two-path turbulence model is used to simulate the heat transfer effect of the air flow field in the heat exchanger.Through the analysis of the simulation results,it is found that the design of the model is reasonable and the internal pressure loss is relatively low.According to the parameter condition of Wujiazhang air well applied to No.1 Coal Mine in Yangquan coal mine,the heat transfer can be guaranteed completely.Finish the preheating effect of fresh air and meet the air supply requirement of air well.The heat exchanger designed in this paper was put into operation in October 2017 in Wujiazhang air well,Yangquan,Shanxi Province.According to the running condition of the project,the test scheme is designed and the operation effect of the heat pipe heat exchanger system is tested and studied.The test results show that the heat pipe heat exchanger with good performance,determine the heat pipe heat exchanger structure design is reasonable,can fully meet the requirements of heat recovery and utilization.
