SHB Region is an important and difficult component of an oil drilling and production area in Liaohe Oil Field.This paper analyses and studies the geological difficulties of SHB region and points out that the geological difficulties are mainly concentrated in the second spudding,which has to meet multiple sets of complex strata including Dongying Formation,Sha 1 member,Sha 3 member and Sha 4 member.Whether this spudding can be successfully finished is related to the success of the whole well drilling.Combined with the geological difficulties,this paper discusses and studies the construction difficulties of the deep horizontal wells,which may meet shrink and swabbing,hole stability,lubricity,hole cleaning,lost circulation,thermal stability of drilling fluid and reservoir protecting.Aiming at the above difficulties,points out the control range of corresponding drilling fluid performance parameters,which based on previous construction experience,and combined with the present scene,and carries out the drilling fluid formulation research to reply the above difficulties.The research proceeds from two aspects.One upgrades formula on the basis of the original system,and puts forward the implementation measures and performance requirements;another carries out the research on the formulation of high performance water-based drilling fluid in accordance with the requirements,and forms a system that is the construction of the deep horizontal Wells in this block.In addition,the experimental requirements of the auxiliary construction technology is studied,which included how to improve the treatment efficiency and guarantee the rules of borehole wall engineering measures,and combined the experimental formula with the construction technology,which applied in construction of wells,and ensured the safety.Aiming at the above difficulties,the corresponding preventive construction measures are put forward.Through the field application,the following conclusions are drawn: The control of drilling fluid low density solid phase and bentonite content has achieved good results in SHB region,which the problem of high incidence of complex situation in the region has been effectively alleviated,and the drilling speed has a remarkable effect.High performance water-based drilling fluid has strong inhibitory,sealing and lubrication than ordinary water-based drilling fluid,which is a good optimization system for deep well problems,and has great application value.
