Coke is indispensable material in the steel and iron industry,as coal coke oven is refined into coke through high temperature carbonization,the red coke must be put out.In the early time,wet coke quenching is widely used,during the process,a large number of phenol,cyanide compounds,sulfur and other harmful substances are produced,and the storm is free draining as well,which severely corroded the equipment around and badly pollute the atmospheric.Dry coke quenching achieve the purpose of cooling the coke by the displacement between red coke and insert gas,during the whole process the cycle gas is repeatedly used rather than making a lot of steam pollution,which can effectively protect the environment.By circulating gas and boiler heat transfer,through overheating saturated steam boiler,energy recycling can be realized.At the same time,dry quenching coke will improve the quality of coke,which is the main steam of coking industry development.Due to how effective this technic will work in energy saving and environment protection,the instrument automation control system is the key.The production technology of the quenching mechanism process requirements is the research object of this paper,the characteristics of dry quenching processing and control requirements are well analysed in the paper.Dry quenching process automation control system design scheme is proposed,divided into two layers of PLC control system and monitoring of dry quenching system.The paper expounds the basis for the automation layer design idea and realization method of PLC control program,and the network control system hardware structure design,based on Siemens S7-400 series PLC equipment and development tools.The paper introduces the monitoring system configuration design,which can complete the equipment status and analog data acquisition,processing,and the process of interpersonal interaction,based on PLC hardware control system and the using of the Wincc configuration software.The dry quenching device full process instrument automation control system that has been put forward in this paper is used in Liyang dry quenching device,and the debugging has been completed in the process of production.The result comes out that the design of the control system can meet the requirements of the scene,and the software system is well operated.The system has improved the quality of the coke,reduced the energy consumption and created remarkable economic benefit and social benefit.
