The coke dry quenching system is the one of the most complex units in a coking plant. The coke dry quenching technology can improve coke qualities, degrease the coke moisture and reduce the coke ratio, improving the economic benefits. The automatic control system of coke dry quenching for routine coke oven has been greatly improved, which is approved and accepted by metallurgical enterprises both domestic and overseas. However, there is no operating example for the heat-recovery coke oven and coke dry quenching for heat recovery coke oven is still being studied. The automatic control system is simulated by computer based on the coke dry quenching device for heat recovery coke oven of Quzhou Yuanli metal products Co., Ltd. The automatic control system, having operability, for heat recovery coke oven is presented in this paper. The results show that the accuracy control, interlock conservation and automatic detecting system guarantee safe and stable running of the system for coke dry quenching. The control system for air-operated regulatory valves overcomes the disturbance of PID and improves the Self-adaptive ability of control system. The improving interlock condition guarantees the security and stability for the circulation system. The conventional PID regulation of the circulation fan is used energy saving. The cascade three impulses have better regulation performance by analyzing the control system for boiler. The series of thermal regulation ensures the stability of the superheated steam temperature according to varied disturbance analyzed. The optimum control model is chosen by orthogonal experiment. The optimum control model can solve the correlation of the amount of discharge coke and secondary blowing, circulate blowing and the amount of vapor generation. The online dynamic control is suitable to carry out the saving of production process and intelligent control.
