In recent years,the frequent occurrence of marine oil spill accidents has not only seriously polluted the marine ecological environment,but also restricted the development of marine economy.China is a large oceanic country and has been integrating various monitoring methods such as remote sensing,ultraviolet fluorescence and drifting buoys to gradually establish and improve the marine oil spill monitoring system.However,most of large-scale monitoring equipment are import-based facilities,which are costly and difficult to promote in an all-round way,and the monitoring effect of such equipment is easily affected by weather factors.The domestically self-developed drift buoy technology is mostly used to track oil spill trajectories,responses slow for small area of oil spill,and lacks early warning effectiveness.Surface Plasmon Resonance(SPR)sensing technology features high sensitivity,rapid detection,less sample consumption,and real-time online monitoring.With the potential to achieve a small area of oil spill early detection,it has vast demand and practical significance in the field of environmental monitoring.At present,the application of SPR sensing technology in oil spill detection in China is still blank,and it is not yet mature in the miniaturization of SPR instrument.Therefore,the subject is of great research value and practical significance.This study aims to prevent the occurrence of major oil spill accidents in order to reduce the harm to the marine economy and marine ecological environment.In order to realize the early monitoring of oil spills on the sea to avoid the serious impact of oil spill pollution,after comparing with the traditional oil spill monitoring methods,this paper combines the advantages of SPR sensor technology to propose a real-time on-line detection system of SPR-miniaturized marine oil spills under the Kretschmann prism type coupling structure.The system is designed to achieve early warning,early positioning and early processing of oil spills.Firstly,the overall designconcept is discussed in detail in the system plan(Chapter 2,Section 2).The four-layer Kretschmann prism-type coupling structure in the angle modulation mode with non-scanning,wide-angle mode of incidence is determined as the sensing structure of the system,and the expected targets are proposed.Secondly,using MATLAB simulation software to simulate the parameters of the sensor components in the structure,including the prism,light source,metal film,and relative position of each component,provides powerful data support for the preparation of sensor components and the construction of experimental devices.Then,the development work of the SPR small oil spill detection experimental device was carried out.According to the overall design of the device,various functional structures were carefully studied and designed,including the optical path structure,hardware circuit,software operation interface,and mechanical structure.Based on the simulation results and the functional structure design,a small SPR oil spill testing device was developed.Finally,the experiment was performed on the samples with different refractive indices through the device,and the experimental results were compared with the simulation results.The results showed that the detection sensitivity of the system to the sucrose solution with a refractive index in the range of 1.4-1.55 reached 9.017×10-5RIU,which was equivalent to the theoretical simulation,had a high detection sensitivity,and verified the effectiveness of the experimental device.The test results of crude oil conformed to the trend of SPR response and verified the feasibility of the system design scheme.In summary,this study provides experimental support and technology accumulation for practical application of SPR-miniaturized real-time on-line oil spill detection system.
