The safety of drinking water has been paid more and more attention,and the protection of drinking water source has become one of the important goals of environmental protection.The groundwater has been the maim water supply in beijing and the water supply of groundwater accounts for about 2/3 of the total water supply in the city.In order to strengthen the protection of drinking water sources,a series of relevant documents for water source protection and assessment have been promulgated.Beijing has also made documents for the environmental protection assessment of water sources.This paper focused on the assessments of Yaobudong underground drinking water source.We carry out the assessment work based on full collection and use of related materiels and research results in the study area.The Yaobudong water source has been investigated,and has been fully evaluated by numerical simulation method and analytic hierarchy process(AHP).The results are as follows:(1)According to the characteristics of Yaobudong water resource,the suitability of some indicators and weights in the assessment system provided in “Technical guideline for the environmental protection status assessment of the centralized drinking water sources" was analized,and the need to adjust the index and its weight was determined,and the rationality of the adjustment was described.(2)Rebuilt a three level evaluation system composed of 1 target levels,6 system levels and 16 index levels.The AHP is applied to reassign all indicators of system level and index level.(3)A numerical simulation model is established for Yaobudong water source.The model can be used to predict the trend of groundwater level and the trend of pollution in the study area,so as to determine the decline rate of groundwater level and the score of two indicators of polluted water in the protected area.(4)Taking the Yaobudong water source as an example,each index has been evaluated and voluated,and the comprehensive score of the water source area is calculated by weighting and calculating.
