3D virtual try-on technology was a new topic which simulates the feature of fabric in computer word. The need for 3D virtual try-on system had become increasingly urgent. The user was allowed to see the fitting effect before the garment was sewn by 3D virtual try-on system, and the unsatisfactory place can be modified to reduce the time cost of the garment design. In this paper,3D virtual try-on technology in the parametric clothing design was introduced.Modeling of Clothing Accessory was researched.Collision detection and processing algorithm was realized. In the parametric clothing design section, clothing style was constrained by a number of parameters(such as clothing length, bust, waist circumference, etc). When the parameters assigned to different values, the original clothing styles can be made into the required new styles by the designer. In the part of simulation of clothing accessories, firstly, clothing accessory was modeled by parametric way:tie type, tail length and tail width were used for the necktie modeling;buckle type, belt length, belt width, and belt thickness were used for belt modeling. Then, the initial position of the accessory was set. Finally, the process of wearing accessory is simulated. In the course of simulation, the collision detection was used to prevent the penetration between models, the garment deformation algorithm was used to achieve the compression effect of the garment.According to the research of this paper, the time cost of the fashion and clothing accessories design was reduced.Designer can be provided a tool for quickly evaluating the design effect of the clothing design. And the production efficiency and quality of clothing design was improved.
