Under the different operating conditions of the belt conveyor,the driving mode of the working machine is completely opposite to the two working states.Belt conveyor transport or transport in normal operation,driven by a motor driven roller conveyor belt running,the drive motor for electric driving belt conveyor;downward load operation,by the material through the conveyor belt driving motor running,the motor running into electric braking,in this process,the motor drive unit the output of the braking force corresponding to balance the gravity component along the running direction of the conveying belt of the material on the run down,in order to ensure the stable operation of conveyor.Because of the particularity of the downward belt conveyor transport conditions,derived technology unique,namely a sudden power failure or serious overload situation,relying on the power generated by the motor suddenly disappeared,causing runaway accident,so the belt conveyor multi configuration braking device to ensure the safe operation of the conveyor.This paper introduces the physical properties of the steel cord conveyor belt,the viscoelastic characteristics and establishes a physical model based on the research,elaborated the test and calculation method of each parameter in the model;a brief description of the mechanical characteristics of belt conveyor driving,braking,tension and other key devices and these devices in the importance of belt conveyor in the meanwhile,focus on the analysis of the transport characteristics of the belt conveyor device,its dynamics model is established according to the economic and practical car driving unit of heavy hammer tension;variable frequency soft starter drive dynamic characteristic and controllability of the braking device of belt conveyor of transport,and requested the braking characteristic according to the the braking mechanism;according to the characteristics of the belt conveyor device,established the dynamic model of belt conveyor with large inclination;the most This paper compares the existing equipment start and brake applied to various transport conditions,combined with the production operation of the production units have been shipped to verify the feasibility of the belt conveyor theory calculation and structure design of the specific parameters of the belt conveyor,lay the foundation for the design and application of steepdownward belt conveyor.
