In the pharmaceutical process,a large amount of difficult-to-treat wastewater is generated. The pharmaceutical wastewater not only contains a high concentration of organic pollutants, but also has relatively high hazardous substances. If the pharmaceutical wastewater is discharged without proper treatment,it will have a great impact on the ecological environment and even threaten people’s living conditions.Because the content and types of pollutants in pharmaceutical wastewater are very large,it is not conducive to the normal degradation of microorganisms. Therefore, conventional physical and biological methods cannot meet the requirements for the treatment of pharmaceutical wastewater. The good characteristics of photocatalytic treatment technology make it able to deal with all kinds of pollutants existing in water or air,and has a good application prospect in the field of environmental protection. In this paper,we use commercially available nano-TiO2(the name of the commodity is P25)as photocatalyst. And through a series of photocatalytic experiments,we conducted research on the wastewater generated during the production of a pharmaceutical factory in Shijiazhuang. On the basis of obtaining the best experimental conditions for the basic photocatalytic treatment,a series of physical and chemical conditions such as reaction temperature, irradiation time, initial pH value and catalytic current were systematically studied by combining Fenton reagent and photoelectrocatalysis technology. The experimental results show that the degradation efficiency of pharmaceutical wastewater can be effectively improved by changing the dosage of nano titanium dioxide P25 and hydrogen peroxide, the initial pH value, the ratio of Fenton reagent and the concentration of catalyst, and the catalytic current.Under the effect of multiple conditions, the activity of the photocatalyst is greatly improved.Based on the analysis of the above conditions, the amount of nano titanium dioxide was set to 0.4 g,the initial pH of the wastewater was adjusted to 3,the concentration ratio of Fe2+and H2O2 in Fenton’s reagent was adjusted to 1:1,through 0.05 A of the DC current during the 40minute ultraviolet radiation. The highest removal rate of organic matter in pharmaceutical wastewater was 87.6%.
