Research On The Appearance Design Of Hexagonal Patchwork In Fashion

Garment culture is the unity of human material civilization and spiritual civilization,which embodies an era of person’s ideology,design and aesthetic way.The sustainable design of the principle of 3R(Reduce,Recycle,Reuse)is a reflection of the global severe environmental situation.Environmental protection is also the inevitable research focus of the development of fashion design.Patchwork as one of the traditional crafts of our country and the world,has also created a variety of appearance patterns in the frugality and pristine spirit of "making the best use".The focus of this project is taking patchwork technology into fashion,with innovative hexagonal puzzle in the clothing design to re-constitute a new look,which effectively reflects the green design concept in the environment-friendly and economic concept.This not only reduces the waste of garment processing production,to achieve the recycling of resources,but also with the modern society of sustainable development ideas coincide.The research process begins with the elaboration of the green concept in the costume design,and explores the green concept conveyed by the patchwork process.Then the author indepth studies patchwork technology,lists its type and outlines its approach,and explores the the application of patchwork craft in the modern fashion design.Finally,based on the graduation design as an theoretical study of the practical experience,the author tries to use innovative hexagonal puzzle in the clothing design to re-constitute a new look,reflecting the 3R concept at the same time designing to meet the popular fashion.
