The socioeconomic development cannot be separated from a large number of infrastructure projects.The building materials industry,which is closely related to infrastructure construction,welcomes great development,especially the brick production enterprises.With the rapid development of automated production technology,brick production enterprises are undergoing a transformation process,and production activities have changed from traditional manual and semi-mechanical to automated manufacturing.The addition of automation technology can greatly reduce the labor costs of enterprises,but the use of automation technology in brick production enterprises is not mature.At present,there are few researches on the brick production system,and the rationality of the control system design cannot be verified theoretically.The idea of flexible control is lacked,the effect of the performance parameters of the production equipment on the production efficiency is not considered,and the production efficiency of the tile production enterprise is hindered.In view of the existing problems,this paper relies on a brick material company in Suining City,Sichuan Province,and chooses the most highly automated cloth pile within the brick production system which is brick d arranging and stacking system for scientific design,and studies the problem of buffer capacity allocation in the system.This paper analyzes the process flow of the brick arranging and stacking system,combines the characteristics of the equipment,determines the type and location of the buffer,analyzes the impact of buffer capacity in the system,and considers several factors affecting the buffer capacity configuration.Analyzes the needs of the buffer configuration process.When studying the buffer capacity configuration of the brick arranging and stacking system,in order to increase the production efficiency of the system and reduce the idle time of the equipment,the availability index is introduced as the optimization goal.This paper decomposes the brick arranging and stacking system into secondary subsystems and analyzes the secondary subsystem,and gets the state change laws of the equipment and buffer.On this basis,solves the system availability of the brick arranging and stacking system,gets the mathematical model between system availability and buffers.On the basis of the features of Mathematical Models for System Availability,this paper uses the improved genetic algorithm to solve the mathematical model.Firstly,analyzes the characteristics of the standard genetic algorithm.In order to solve the “premature” problem,uses the idea of improved adaptive genetic algorithm to improve the operators of the standard genetic algorithm,and descripts in detail the flow of the improved genetic algorithm used in this paper.Uses it to solve the mathematical model of system availability and buffers,and gets the suitable buffers.Uses Witness which is a famous simulation software to test the buffers solved.Sets up the simulation model of the brick arranging and stacking system,and sets the equipment as fundamental element,the capacity of buffers is the solution which has been got.The answer displays that the capacity of buffers is suitable,and tests that the buffers capacity configuration method based on the brick arranging and stacking system’s availability index.
