| Water is an indispensable important resource for human survival and development.With the rapid development population and economy,water shortage and water pollution have become a long-term problem.Reclaimed water is recognized as the second water source internationally,it has became an effective way to solve the problem of water resources.The input and effect of reclaimed water are related to water pollution control,environmental construction and ecological protection,which is ultimately related to the guarantee and support of the environment to the economic development.However,the development and utilization of reclaimed water in China is not satisfactory for a long time.The implementation of the reclaimed water project is difficult to attract enough funds to meet the needs of the new economy.There are great regional differences in the development of the reclaimed water project and the economic development.Comparing the research on the relationship between the input of reclaimed water projects and economic growth from both the national and regional levels,maximizing the positive effects of the input of reclaimed water projects on economic growth,and seeking to promote the coordinated development of reclaimed water projects and economies in various regions,have major realities significance.On the basis of the above background,first of all,this paper analyzes the interaction mechanism between reclaimed water project input and economic growth based on environmental economics,externality theory.Secondly,30 provinces nationwide are selected as the research object,and panel vector autoregressive models between the input of reclaimed water projects and economic growth across the country and the eastern,central and western regions are established to quantify the interactionbetween the two and analyze and compare the different development of different regions.Finally,according to the characteristics of different regions,we give different proposals for promoting the harmonious development of reclaimed water projects and the economy.The results show that:(1)In general,there is a long-term dynamic equilibrium relationship between the input of reclaimed water project and economic growth,and the two are mutually promoting and developing together.(2)The impact of reclaimed water project input in the national,eastern,and western regions on the economic growth is a“U” type effect,and the inflection point is around 0.5 period,which is generally a positive effect.There is a negative correlation between the input of reclaimed water projects and economic growth in the central region.(3)The economic growth of the national,Eastern,central and western regions has significantly promoted the input of reclaimed water projects,and economic growth is a powerful guarantee for the construction of reclaimed water projects.(4)the relationship between the input of reclaimed water project and economic growth is asymmetrical,and the effect of economic growth on the input of reclaimed water project is far higher than the effect of the reclaimed water project on the economic growth.(5)There is a regional difference in the relationship between the input of reclaimed water projects and economic growth,and it is necessary to adopt differentiated improvement strategies for different regions. |
