The development of CNC machine tools has become a symbol of the advanced level of a country's manufacturing industry.With the development of machine tools and computers,CNC machine tools are developing towards large-scale and miniaturization.The combination of small or micro CNC machine tools with computer programming is an important direction in the application field of CNC machine tools.This paper first analyzes the main structure design of the portable desktop micro CNC engraving machine.The structure is chosen lightly,and the aluminum alloy plate,machine tool fixed plate and supporting plate are analyzed.The carving head is designed,and the carving part is modularized for easy disassembly and modification.For different materials,needle pressing heads and ultrasonic carving heads can be used.The miniature CNC engraving machine is controlled by a computer,and is driven by a stepper motor,and a screw nut mechanism is adopted.Two linkage modes with transverse X axis,vertical Z axis and horizontal working table longitudinal Y axis three axis linkage or horizontal X axis,vertical Z axis and right rotating worktable with A axis(rotating around X axis).The first kind of linkage machining mode is clamping with a screw clamping mechanism,mainly used for processing plate materials.The second kind of linkage processing mode is to use the chuck on the A axis for clamping,mainly for machining circular or shaft parts.The control system uses singlechip as the core component component,and the control system uses CNC USB Controller software as the application preprocessing software of the NC machining program PC terminal.The force analys is and parameter selection of the carving head and clamping mechanis m are carried out,and reasonable assembly parts,electrical components and standard parts of the machine tool are analyzed and selected.The X axis,Y axis,Z axis and A shaft are driven by the new stepping motor,and the stepper motor selection and parameter characteristics are analyzed.The X axis,Y axis and Z axis are calibrated by using the JCS-WCM series of precision roller screws.The clamping mechanism is easy to operate and the manual screw clamping mechanis m with simple structure carries out the force analysis of the clamping force mechanism.The machine tool accepts G code generated by general programming software.Through transmission software to machine tools can be processed.In this paper,three typical cases,namely,process patterns,jewelry and personal chemical parts,are processed and compared with the theoretical results.It is proved that the machine tool meets the design requirements,and it can meet the teaching requirements of NC Specialty and Mechatronics in vocational technical colleges.The processing data were analyzed,and metal and non-metallic materials were processed to prove the practicability of the machine tools.
