As a typical plateau mountainous city,Kunming has its inherent vulnerability.Under the background of the rapid development of the city,Kunming has a tight relationship with people and natural disasters.Natural disasters occur frequently.Ecosystem health assessment can truly reflect the relationship between urban people and nature,and can explore the driving forces behind it in conjunction with the socio-economic environment.These factors can provide a new perspective for the future assessment of urban ecosystem health and provide a reference for the future sustainable development of the city.Therefore,this paper comprehensively considers the humanities,nature,and social characteristics of Kunming City,constructs a DPSIR urban ecosystem health assessment model,and uses a fully-arranged polygon graphical indicator method to quantify the health status of its ecosystem.Conclusion as below:1.The construction of DPSIR urban ecosystem health assessment model in Kunming city.Combining with the natural,cultural and social characteristics of Kunming city,25 indicators were selected from the aspects of driving force,pressure,state,influence and response to build a DPSIR urban ecosystem health assessment model.Based on the actual data,the specific index values of the 25 indicators in the three periods of 2006,2011,and 2016 were calculated,and a line chart of dynamic changes was plotted for each indicator,and the causes of changes in the indicators were analyzed based on humanities and social conditions.2.Application of Health Assessment by Full Arrangement of Polygonal Graphic Indicators.According to the calculation results of each indicator in the DPSIR urban ecosystem health assessment model,the index values are processed using the principle of the standardization of the full-arranged polygon icon,eliminating the dimensional impact of different unit indicators and scaling the indicators into the same interval.Make each indicator longitudinally comparable.According to the standardized values of each indicator,the polygons of driving force,pressure,state,influence,and responseare plotted.The graphs with different index values connected to the composite have different connotation characteristics.Finally,the comprehensive index values of the three periods in Kunming City are calculated.For the cases of 0.1796 ? 0.2432and0.2186,the health status of urban ecosystems in Kunming City in 2006,2011,and2016 was rated as “unhealthy”,and the health status of urban ecosystems in Kunming was at a poor level,and it was urgent to seek strategies for improvement.Through the above research,this paper finally puts forward suggestions for improving the health status of urban ecosystems,with a view to improving the health status of urban ecosystems in Kunming in the future,Provide a new perspective for the sustainable development of Kunming and provide new ideas for the policy formulation of urban managers.
