Fire is one of the mostcasualties accident in human life.It is known that serious loss of life and property,serious damage to buildings canbe caused by fire.Fire monitoring and early warning isthe effective method to prevent the spread of fire and reduce the losses of fire.The currentfire alarm system has some deficiencies.Such as complex installation and wiring,inconvenience for maintenance,single sensor type,high rate of false alarm and the lack of effective supervision and inspection to fire fighting facilities.To solve the problems a wireless monitoring system for indoor fire was researched in this thesis.This thesis presented the system with functions which were multi-sensor data collection for Temperature,CO concentration and the smoke density,data transmission with wireless network,classification alarm for fire,positioning for firefighters,auxiliary for fire rescue and inspections.The main works in the study are as follows:Firstly,According to the analysis of the current fire monitoring system,the functional requirements ofwireless monitoring system for indoor fire was determined,the overall scheme design of system was completed.The scheme was including the selection of wireless sensor networks,multi-sensor information fusion and indoor wireless network positioning.The scheme design of system hardware and software is completed.Secondly,according to the scheme of multi-sensor information fusion and indoor wireless network positioning at the first part,Two key technologies of fuzzy logic theory and RSSI positioning algorithm in the scheme were researched in this part.A fire recognition algorithm based on the fuzzy logic theory is designed to suit the system.The algorithm was proved to be able to realize the classification of fire warning by the result of the simulation with the standard data.Through the experimental verificationof the improvedRSSI localization algorithm,the algorithm was proved to be able to realize the function of node positioning.Thirdly,according to the research content of first and second parts,the detail design of system hardware and software was completed.The hardware circuit diagram and software flow chart of each main part were given.System experimental platform was set up by the scheme.The main functions which are the wireless data communication,the classification early warning for fire and the node positioning were verifiable by experiment.The emphasis of the research is organically combined and application of the Zigbee wireless network communication technology,multi-sensor information fusion technology and the wireless network node positioning technology.The system is designed to reduce the difficulty of construction,improve the warningability on different types of fire,especially early smoldering fire,improve the efficiency of the rescue.So this thesis puts a basis for further research.
