According to the current status of coal mine environment monitoring system inour country, this paper presents a mine environment monitoring system based onZigbee and multi-sensor data fusion technology. Zigbee is used to establish theunderground wireless sensor network, by which data acquisition and wirelesstransmission of the underground multiple environment parameters is realized.Multi-sensor data fusion technology is used to process the collected data, effectivelyimproved the monitoring reliability and evaluation Scientificity of the system. Thispaper mainly include the following contents:Firstly, the paper introduces the Zigbee technology and the overall scheme ofmine environment monitoring system based on Zigbee. The whole system iscomposed of upground monitoring platform and underground data acquisition andtransmission system. The two part connected by ethernet. The collected data iscentralized and stored, the data fusion is realized and the environmental safety gradeevaluation is given by upground monitoring platform. Underground data acquisitionand transmission system contain optical fiber network, serial to Ethernet switch andwireless sensor network nodes. The data transmit to Zigbee coordinator through WSN,then transmit to the upper computer system through Wired communication.Secondly, in order to realize the networking of Zigbee wireless sensor network,this paper designs the network node based on CC2530, which can be used for theZigbee coordinator, router and terminal equipment. CC2530combined with TI’sZ-Stack, provides a powerful and complete Zigbee solution, is the ideal carrier torealize this system. Network node using the modular design, realize data acquisitiontransmission and processing of the coal mine gas, CO, wind speed, temperature, dustconcentration and other parameters.Then, according to the requirements of multi-sensor data fusion in this system, atwo-level data fusion model for various environment parameters of mine is given. Thefirst-level data fusion gets the accurate fusion value of the various mine environmental parameters by using fuzzy clingy degree. The second-level data fusioncarries on the data fusion again to the first-level data fusion’s results using grayrelational analysis and this accurately determines the security situation in mines toensure the coal mine’s safe production.Finally, the software design of monitoring platform&Zigbee network node andthe debugging of the system is given. The networking process of the system and theflow chart of Zigbee coordinator, router and enddevice is introduced in softwaredesign part. Then test temperature acquisition, networking process, data transmission,and the data transmission distance in the laboratory.
