Cold end is cutting and packing section for float glass,as well as the highest expression of float glass production line automation equipment level.As China's float glass technological progress and industrial structure upgrade adjustment,the equipment level and automation degree of cold end single equipment has continues to increase.Large-scale,multi-specification,high-quality production demands put forward higher requirements for,automation and intelligent of the cold end control.The continuous development of industrial control network technology,laid the foundation for the online remote control of cold end control system,which is easy to achieve interoperability with upper enterprise management MES system and is conducive to enterprise lean management and surprises production.This paper attempts to propose a full range of solutions for the intelligent modification of the cold end control system from establishing fully digital network,reasonable transmission scheme,accurate identification and precise tracking of glass plate,intelligent stacking and other aspects.(1)This paper uses Profibus-DP as on-site layer network,and Ethernet as the management layer communication,to build network system of cold end control system,and to make the control system has good real-time,openness and interactivity,and convenient for access of third-party devices.It achieved the remote control of the system through Internet with the help of Ethernet.After analyzing the characteristics of servo motor,AC motor,servo control,and AC frequency control,according to the process characteristics of different drive areas of cold end,to determine the appropriate cost-effective transmission scheme for domestic float production line while ensuring the premise of control accuracy and operational reliability.To establish feature parameters and system data marts for each piece of glass plate,take the way of data transfer synchronized with material flow to ensure the follow features of characteristic parameters during the transmission of the glass plate.Use "trapezoidal integration" soft computing combined with the "hardware calibration" method to achieve accurate tracking for the glass plate position tracking.The fuzzy pattern recognition method,improve the efficiency of stacker effectively,and make it has the characteristics of intelligent control,which could adapt to small pieces of sheet slitting mode of production mode and improve the single production capacity.(2)From the point of improve control accuracy and intelligence and achieve remote control,the paper give the solution for intelligent upgrade modification of cold end control system by using of digital technology,network technology,fuzzy pattern recognition technology and advanced automatic control means.It achieved the automatic classification stacking according to quality based on accurate identification and precise positioning of the glass plate,and achieved seamless control which take third-party devices into the management system.It improved the utilization and production capacity of cold end equipment effectively and improved the intelligent,humanity of operation.
