High-strength steel is an important Profitable product of BG.Especially more and more application of automobile outer panel and automotive structural parts,customers requests for quality of high-strength steel are more and more critical,such as FAW-Volkswagen,Fiat and Daimler-Benz etc.Then the shape precision,thickness precision and quality control comes to be an important thing during the production process.In 2013,the suspect and complain about high-strength steel quality from inner or outer customers happened for several times.Some customers wanted to change their production orders.These things affected reputation and profit of BG.So we want to our efforts to reduce production cost.In order to solve this question,this thesis analyzes quality management of high-strength steel and the requests of customers.Then improved quality targets of this important product is set up.After discussion with experts and leaders,we decide to use Six Sigma project to realize our targets.So this thesis does some research by using Six Sigma theory and methods.Then we draw-up project schedule plan and control the project process according to the plan.So we get our project targets by these methods.Based of Six Sigma management project of improving quality of high-strength steel in BG,this thesis makes use of project management schedule plan and control theory and methods,and develops a schedule plan for this project.Then implements the progress control according to it.All of the works become one of implementation examples from project schedule plan and control theory to Six Sigma projects.The main contents and research result included are shown as the following:First,this thesis analyzes current situation of high-strength steel’s quality and the requests of main customers.Then the important tasks of improving quality of this product are confirmed by using Six Sigma methods.So a project style is also set up according to it.Second,this thesis makes project tasks as the research object,and use project management theory and techniques to estimate each time of each task.And then the logic relationship among these tasks are ensured according to Six Sigma project procedure.After these researches,the project schedule plan is derived and optimized.Third,this thesis researches how to set up project schedule control process,and how to track the work of completed and waiting to be done.At last,this thesis checks the project results by comparing quality data high-strength steel.
