The pace of global economic development is accelerating day by day.Competition in all walks of life is becoming more and more fierce.Under the situation of turbulent international oil prices and arduous economic situation,the survival of the fittest and the decline of the fittest.Oil and gas exploration,storage and transportation enterprises have the characteristics of large scale,many varieties,complex materials and difficult inventory control.Cost reduction and profit promotion have become the goals of enterprises.With the expansion of the production and construction scale of A company,it is necessary to put forward higher requirements for the quantity and quality of materials.However,the high inventory increases the occupancy of funds,affects the operating costs of enterprises,and the contradiction between material security and cost is increasingly prominent.As an important inventory management problem,enterprises are facing increasing challenges.In order to reduce cost and increase efficiency,control stock reserve reasonably,reduce capital occupancy and improve material inventory management level,it has become an urgent problem for A company.This paper mainly uses statistical analysis to analyze the current situation of material inventory management and material inventory problems in Company A.It finds that there are problems and shortcomings in material inventory,inventory classification and control methods,and inventory management ideas in Company A.It explores the reasons for these problems and puts forward optimization methods.Firstly,the accuracy of material demand planning is strengthened from the source by using forecasting analysis method,and the inventory is scientifically classified and controlled by ABC classification method.By establishing economic lot order models for class A and B materials,the inventory is optimized,and the management of inventory and cost is strengthened and emphasized,and the warehouse is strengthened by combining qualitative and quantitative methods.Inventory control,improve the overall level of inventory management,and finally use case validation method to apply the optimization method to the actual work of material inventory management in Company A,and evaluate the application effect.The purpose of this paper is to help A company reduce inventory,reduce capital occupation,activate liquidity,strengthen inventory turnover and improve inventory management efficiency.It has a certain reference and reference for similar industries.
