Along with people's life level is improving,car is not only vehicle,more and more people start to experience enjoyment driving and enjoy the feeling of driving.So thire requirement of car is improving,contains handle driving and riding comfort,and noise is one of the test aspect of riding comfort performance,and traffic noise affect people's life day by day,and affect driving safty.Our country is a big export country,domestic tire companies are taking more and more attention to tire's noise performance while EU REACH regulation improves the requirement of tire noise performance,these companies research low noise technologies and hope to develop low noise performance tires.The vibration mechanism of the tire is introduced,including the vibration caused by uneven road surface and the unevenness of the tire/rim assembly.The causes of tire noise are introduced,including the pump noise of the air in the tire crown groove,the organ tube phenomenon and the horn effect.The special design of the pattern groove can disturb the resonance characteristics of the air in the pattern groove,thereby reducing the tire noise performance.Studied on factors affecting tire noise.The factors that affect tire tread noise are mainly structural factors,including the design of the tread pattern,such as the shape of the block,the type and arrangement of the pitch,the width and depth of the groove,by adjusting the width and depth of the groove,or The special design in the groove can change the vibration frequency of the gas in the groove,which affects the noise of the tire.The same is true for adjusting the misalignment of the pattern.At the same time,the width and depth of the groove affect the rigidity of the crown.The higher the rigidity,the more obvious the noise of the tire hitting the road surface.The formulation factor is mainly the hardness of the tread compound,and the process factor is the Ununiformity of the tire.These factors can also be considered for optimizztion for tire noise,and have less influence than the tire tread pattern.Studied on the test methods for tire vibration,mainly including tire Cleat test,tire modal and natural frequency test,and tire force transmission test.The noise test is divided into indoor test and outdoor test.The indoor test adopts the semi-muffling or full silencer indoor drum method.The outdoor noise test adopts the real vehicle test or the trailer test.The noise test method adopted by the EU R117 regulation is widely used.Based on the simulation method,the tire mode and natural frequency were simulated to verify the factors affecting the tire mode and natural frequency,such as the belt layer and the carcass layer.By simulating and calculating the pattern pitch order and pattern misalignment,the pattern pitch order is preferred,the tire noise amplitude is reduced,and data support for tire noise optimization is provided.To optimize the tire noise of 235/55R19,firstly,the simulation method is used to optimize the pitch order.Then the preferred scheme is compared with the existing pattern scheme simulation to determine the improvement effect.Finally,the mold is processed and the tires are made and indoors.The outdoor noise test verifies the tire noise performance,and the noise is reduced by 1 dB,and the improvement effect is obvious.
