The blast furnace slag fiber with different acidity coefficients was used in the pilot test base of north China university of science and technology.The blast furnace slag fiber plate made by adding polyvinyl alcohol solution and polyvinyl glutaraldehyde solution binder through a series of processes was cut out according to a certain size,which was used for the soilless cultivation matrix to cultivate longevity flowers.In this project,the basic properties of high slag fiber with different acidity coefficients were tested,including the apparent morphology,diameter,slag ball content,moisture content,dispersion stability and acid.The performance of the manufactured fiber board was tested,including the effect of different acidity coefficient on the density and moisture absorption rate,alkali resistance of the fiber board and the durability of the nutrient solution.At last,the suitable fiber matrix of blast furnace slag was selected.Compared with the agricultural rock wool,the suitable fiber matrix of blast furnace slag was selected.The results showed that the diameter of high slag fiber and slag ball content of Mk=1.4 were too high and both exceeded the agricultural rock cotton standard.The fiber with different acidity coefficient has better acid resistance and the slag fiber with low acidity coefficient has worse alkali resistance.High-furnace slag fiberboard of Mk=1.2 has the smallest density and good moisture absorption rate.After being corroded by nutrient solution,its fiber surface has been peeled to a certain extent,but it does not affect the growth of plant roots for a short time.As a result,the optimization of the high slag fiberboard shows that the density and moisture absorption of the fiberboard are affected by the type and concentration of the binder.And forming pressure is too large,resulting in excessive density of fiber board.Through the soilless cultivation experiment,the effects of different cultural substrates on the growth rate and morphological indexes of longevity flowers were observed.Among them,the acidity coefficient 1.2 of PVA-GA binder system with four percent was better than that of other acid coefficients,and the effect was not different from that of agricultural rock wool substrate.Figure 42;table 12;Reference 57.
