With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards,the whole society will pay more attention to the physical and mental health of infants,so people ask for higher and higher design requirements of infant products under such a background.Compared with the improvement of foreign product markets and maturity of consumers’ consumption concept,domestic development of baby carriages is relatively late due to the influence of economic development.Meanwhile,quality and design innovation of baby carriage products still needs to be improved because of the complicated market.As they grow,their physiological functions will change continuously,and these changes lead to the situation that more consideration is needed to be taken into design of baby carriage products at the beginning.Although types of products are increasingly abundant on the market,existing products are still difficult to meet the growing needs of people.The survey found that at present,each family with babies is basically equipped with at least two or more infants carriages,but these infants carriages are basically similar in function,which leads to a great waste of resources.Main reason for this phenomenon is that some of the infants carriages cannot meet the use needs in daily use,which results in re-purchasing products of parents to meet their needs.Therefore,in order to solve this problem,this paper will focus on the design field of baby carriages based on the modular design theory and study multifunctional baby carriage products.Modular design of infants carriages meets the needs of daily travel of infants to a certain extent,and modular design concept can also help enterprises design new products to provide effective innovative ideas.This paper firstly discusses the theoretical basis of modularization,summarizes the definition,characteristics and categories of modularization,and then studies the design elements of the color,structure,materials and man-machine of infants carriages.Through analysis of product markets of home and abroad,this paper puts forward the requirements for the design of modular multifunctional infants carriages and analyzes the division and combination of structural modules and functional modules of infants carriages combined with the relevant knowledge of modularization,a modular multi-functional infants carriages was designed,related structural diagrams and renderings were drawn,and the design was briefly explained.Finally,the paper was summarized. |
