Study On The Risk Management Plan Of International Long–distance Pipeline EPC Project

Along with the Oil and Gas Pipeline network basically completed in China,the construction of pipelines and related facilities is now at a low ebb period,The domestic pipeline construction market has been becoming saturated,in order to adapt to the situation,our pipeline construction enterprise has implement ed a “going out" strategy of internationalization,to participate in international long distan ce transportation pipeline construction market competition by EPC contract mode.As a result of both the characteristics of internationalization,EPC mode and long distance pipeline construction project,these contractor must face to a huge risk,and indicate the importance of risk management.As an important part of risk management,the research of risk management plan will have an important significance.In this thesis,firstly the development of risk management and studies on the risk management of long distance pipeline were introduced,and lead to the study significance and the study direction.Through the introduction of the EPC theory and the related concepts of long-distance pipeline and risk management plan,we will have a systematic understanding and comprehensive to the Long-distance pipeline project base on the mode of EPC.And then after the analysis of project risk management target,and utilizing the tools and related methods of risk identification and assessment,to introduce the compiled contents and process of risk management plan.Combined with the specific characteristics of a Kenya long distance pipeline project construction program,we select the significant construction stage to explain its process,methods and contents of the risk management planning in detail,and verify the effection when carrying out this plan in this project.After an analysis of the relation between risk management and risk emergency management,the compiling content,principles and requirements are also introduced,so that readers could more easily understand the difference and the similarities,and clear to know the compiling process,which will have a reference to other construction enterprises.
