Welding,as a processing method,plays a decisive role in the field of modern manufacturing industry,plays a key role in the industrial revolution and promotes the development of manufacturing industry.With the proposal of "Industry 4.0" and "Made in China 2025" strategic planning,modern welding manufacturing industry should also accelerate the transformation and upgrading and develo p towards the road of intellectualization in order to adapt to the trend of future industrial development.As we all know,there are many and complex factors affecting the welding process.In order to improve the welding quality,the deep-seated mechanism of welding needs to be further studied.At this stage,the acquisition process of welding parameters is tedious,and most of the acquisition equipment is expensive and difficult to install,which is very inconvenient.In order to formulate reasonable welding process specifications and evaluate the welding quality,we usually have to go through a complex experimental process,which will greatly reduce the production efficiency and slow down the development rate of welding manufacturing industry.In this paper,a set of arc welding parameters measurement and control system is developed by using virtual instrument software LabVIEW.The system consists of two parts: software and hardware.The hardware part is mainly composed of computer,Hall current sensor,Hall voltage sensor,data acquisition card and arc welding power source.The arc welding power source is used to receive the waveform signal from data acquisition card and then weld.The function of the sensor is to obtain the voltage and current in the process of arc welding.Electrical signal parameters are converted by data acquisition card and displayed in the upper computer.The software part consists of three modules.The control module can generate DC and single pulse such as sine wave,square wave,saw tooth wave and triangle wave,and can also generate double pulse waveforms to control welding current.The measurement module can measure welding current and voltage signals in real time,display the signals in waveform and save the signals.The analysis module can analyze the stored data by filtering,statistical analysis,U-I phase diagram analysis,probability density analysis and correlation analysis,so as to judge the stability of the welding process and analyze the welding quality.On the one hand,the system can complete the analysis and research of current and voltage parameters in different welding processes,and then get the relevant information of welding quality;on the other hand,it can generate different waveforms to control the work of welding machine,which has a certain guiding significance for the development of welding equipment and the formulation of relevant technological parameters.
