The paper presents the monitor and control system based on Lab VIEW. Completed the data acquisition and the latter transaction during the process of the smelting of the MgO, and also the precise control of the three-phase smelting electrode. And the task has built the intact history database, which will be used to achieve the fuzzy control of the whole system.The main contents of the paper are as the follow:1. Analyzed the request of the technics of the industry and design the frame of the whole system.2. Finished the configuration of the NFs multifunction DAQ card PCI-6023E and analogy output card PCI-6713. And completed the software programming of the IPC.3. Accomplished the data acquisition and the auto control of smelting process, based on the sensors, SCXI module, pulse coder and transducer etc.4. Finished the system anti-jamming test and improved the robust performance of the system. Made it reach the request of the industry.The project this paper presented has been putted into production in the July 2003. And to this day the system runs smoothly and reach the expect effect. And the paper provides the solution of the real-time monitor and control system to the MgO-smelting industry.
