Research On The Impact Of Environmental Regulations On The High-quality Economic Development

As China’s socialism enters a new era,under the new normal economic logic,in the face of tighter constraints on resources and the environment,it is particularly urgent to discuss the relationship between environmental regulations and high-quality economic development.On the one hand,it has widened the boundary of environmental regulation and economic relationship research;on the other hand,it is hoped that through reasonable environmental regulation measures,it will provide a reference path for the high-quality development of China’s provincial economy.First,the article measures the high-quality development of the provincial economy from the perspectives of the five development concepts of innovation,coordination,greenness,openness,and sharing.Brief description of the high-quality development of the economy;Second,based on the previous theoretical foundations of environmental regulation and high-quality economic development,construct a direct and indirect impact model of environmental regulation on the high-quality development of provincial economies,and divide environmental regulation into command-control,market-incentive,and informal.The three types of environmental regulation explore the impact of environmental regulation on high-quality economic development,use stata software to perform relevant regressions,introduce instrumental variables for robustness testing,and describe and analyze measurement results,providing an effective basis for the conclusions and policy recommendations below.The final research found that the main conclusions are:(1)from the perspective of space,the high-quality development of China’s provincial economy shows a situation of high in the east and low in the west,and the gap between provinces is the degree of innovation,coordination and openness;from the time range Look,from 2001 to 2016,there was an overall upward trend.(2)The influence of market incentives on the high-quality economic development index shows an “inverted U” relationship that promotes and then suppresses,while the effects of command-controlled environmental regulation and informal environmental regulation on the high-quality economic development index are suppressed first and then Promote "U"-type relationships.
