Since China's reform and opening up,economic development has been rapid, and its comprehensive strength has been increasing, but environmental pollution has gradually become prominent, especially the worsening haze pollution, which has an impact on public travel and health. At the same time, the huge economic losses caused by haze have affected the development process of our country, which has attracted the attention of the government and all sectors of society. While pursuing rapid economic development,we should also pay attention to the protection of ecological environment. Therefore, firstly, this paper explores the influencing factors of haze pollution, and analyzes the influencing mechanism and path of haze pollution.Secondly, studying the relationship between haze pollution and economic development. The research results can provide reference for the haze control policy in China, and have great significance for the ecological environment protection,high-quality economic development and people's happy life.Based on the panel data of 287 cities from 1998 to 2016,PM2.5 is used as the measurement index of haze pollution, and the global and local correlation tests are used to explore characteristics of PM2.5 in space.Based on the Environmental Kuznets curve?EKC?,this paper focuses on two aspects:First, the spatial Durbin model?SDM?is used to study the impact of economic development and related economic factors on haze.Second,in order to study the impact of economic development on haze and the reaction of haze on economic development, this paper constructs a spatial panel weight matrix, uses the generalized three-stage least square method?GS3SLS?to establish a spatial simultaneous equation model, and explores the interaction mechanism between haze and economic development from three aspects of overall, regional and time heterogeneity. The results show that:PM2.5 has spatial spillover, and the increase of PM2.5 concentration in the neighboring areas can lead to the increase of PM2.5.5 concentration in the region. In addition, the economic development of the neighboring areas also add haze pollution in the script area, which bring environmental pressure to the region. In the study of impact of economy on haze,it can be seen that in terms of the overall situation of the country, the relationship between PM2.5.5 and per capita GDP presents an inverted U-shaped curve, which verifies the existence of EKC,and the relationship curve between the east and middle also presents this feature. There is also EKC relationship between economic development and haze pollution, which is tested separately from regional heterogeneity and time heterogeneity. In addition, haze pollution also has a negative effect on economic development and has an inhibitory effect on it.The results show that the inflection point of EKC slightly shifts to the right under the stimulation of the economic policy of"four trillion rescue plan",indicating that the time to improve the haze pollution is delayed.Population scale,FDI,secondary industry and so on all aggravate the haze pollution, while urbanization and tertiary industry can improve the haze pollution under the influence of spatial factors.
