In this paper,a high performance silicone-acrylic emulsion with good compatibility with potassium silicate solution was synthesized,and then this emulsion was added as an organic film-forming substance to the inorganic potassium silicate solution to form an organic-inorganic hybrid emulsion.It is mixed with zinc powder to prepare high adhesion and high flexibility silicate heavy anti-corrosion coating to achieve long-term anti-corrosion effect.The specific research contents and results are as follows:(1)The optimum process conditions for the synthesis of silicone-acrylic emulsions with good compatibility with potassium silicate solution were determined by single factor experiments: the polymerization temperature of 80?85 °C,the polymerization time is 3?4 h,the stirring speed is 200?300 r/min,the soft and hard monomer mass ratio is 4:5,and the reactive emulsifier is 3% of the total monomer mass,SE-10 N is used as an emulsifier in the emulsion polymerization process,the amount of initiator is 0.6% of the total mass of the monomer.The bisphenol A epoxy acrylate(EA),which accounts for 6% of the total mass of the monomers,is pre-emulsified,and the vinyl silane(LT-151),which accounts for 4% of the total mass of the monomers,is added to the copolymerization reaction by a post-feeding method.The average particle size of the emulsion synthesized by the above process is 95.67 nm;The morphology of the latex particles observed by TEM analysis was approximately regular spherical particles with uniform distribution;The TGA-DSC analysis showed that the glass transition temperature of the coating film was 20.58 ° C,and the initial decomposition temperature(5% by weight of the coating)of the coating film was 275 °C.(2)The self-made silicone-acrylic emulsion was added to the potassium silicate solution by physical blending to prepare a potassium silicate-silicon-acrylic hybrid emulsion and a hybrid coating film thereof.FT-IR analysis found that the modified hybrid coating formed an organic-inorganic hybrid polymer network;SEM analysis showed that the amorphous part of the organic phase appeared on the surface of the modified hybrid coating film,and the compactness of the coating film was enhanced;XRD analysis showed that the modified hybrid coating film had a higher degree of amorphization than the pre-modified coating film.(3)The zinc-rich coating and its coating are prepared by screening the hybrid emulsion with excellent comprehensive performance as the base material and mixing the zinc powder.The study found that the modified zinc-rich coating has a fast drying rate at room temperature,the adhesion is improved from 4 to 0 and the flexibility is increased from 10 mm to 1 mm.SEM analysis showed that the modified zinc-rich coating was more dense.The EIS test found that the corrosion-resistant performance of the modified zinc-rich coating was significantly improved.
